No you weren’t. You making crap up to lay at the feet of famous people, studiously ignoring the fact that youth have been figuring out weird things to do with their parts for longer than there have been famous people.

I’ll stick with what I said:

Bowie introduced weird sex stuff to American teens. That’s why the elites love him. It’s like Bill Clinton was to politics.

Stick with what you’ve already acknowledged was wrong. Meanwhile, back in reality there’s cave painting showing kinky sex predates fame.

Way to misconstrue the point.
Seems you can’t grasp that un-cool people could go thru the last 40 years without listening to David Bowie.

"Bowie introduced weird sex stuff to American teens. "

Oh what? Do you think teens have EVER needed introducing to 'weird' sex stuff?

I’m not saying Bowie was as phony and utterly untalented as they are, but arguing merit from popularity doesn’t count for much. After all, popularity also got Obama elected twice.

The thing is, outside of "Let's Dance" and a few hits in the mid-70s, Bowie didn't get a tremendous amount of radio airplay and most of his records weren't big sellers when they were originally released.

A lot of his fans discovered him later on when they went to college. His biggest selling records tended to be compilations of songs from different albums. But he pretty much always had basically a cult following.

Perhaps you’re too young to remember when homosexuality was illegal and American kids went to church on Sunday.

Drugs and Bowie and Hillary’s friends came along . . .
