Interesting! Thank you.

A couple of new books out about Salem - plus a new production of The Crucible in NYC. That trial never ceases to interest people.

If you love Communism and Miller, The Crucible, makes sense.

My family were early settlers in Salem, 1628, they didn't like the place and went South in 1631.

I often tell my Granddaughter, the Evil Katie, that she is going to go crazy for about eight years. This insanity will abate around 21 and she will return to her normal Evil self, more or less. She is a very smart kid so I hope less,

I recommend to my son that the Marines could help focus her attention in the future. Did wonders for several of my cousins.

In those days the general insanity of young women was not recognized and witch craft was thought to be real.

Getting back to Miller, he was a NY commie and used the witch trials as an allegory for the McCarthy era. Read up on the communist party and their fellow travelers.

Remember if he was any real kind of man Ms Monroe would never have tossed him out an married Joe DiMaggio.
