No, the school of Frankfurt didn’t produce pseudos. These were extraordinarily well-educated and erudite men. Don’t let them off the hook by saying they are miseducated, phony eggheads. Hardly.

To me, a pseudo intellectual is an educated fool.

To tell you the truth, I’ve had this wild hare of an idea that the big push of “50 Shades of Spay” might have been a way to feel out Western female attitudes toward the possibility of being knocked around (and to glamourize same). Helpful thing to know when you are plotting to flood Western countries with tons of unhousebroken woman-haters.
Women may have dominance fantasies but that’s all they are. Who knows what men fantasize in their quietest moments and yet never let on or act upon it? The human heart is a strange organ. I hope men will man up because this is going to be war.

Bernie actually said that. How sick. Now I hate him. Back in Europe after the movie with Mickey Roarke in SF Chinatown (or NY Chinatown?) I got into a huge argument with an older guy about this. In that movie Mickey Roarke comes into the reporter’s apartment and takes her by force but then she loves it. The guy I was arguing said every woman loves that. All sex is rape. GEEZ LOUISE, what is with this Bill Cosby attitude among men?
