Yes, we'll have to agree to disagree on this.

On another note whether Trump is right or wrong in the instance linked below he was careful not to generalize and had sources he thought adequate to support his conclusions.

Believe it or not I defended Trump's Mexican remark, pointing out that he used the qualifier, "some"...although he waited until his next sentence which really muddied the waters.

Wouldn't take the time to defend him now.

Or did I just do that.

I believe we agree on enough other things to pass on from this point companionably.

[[Believe it or not I defended Trump’s Mexican remark,]]

I did too- had friends arguing he meant ‘all muslims’ and I argued trump did not mean all muslims and immigrants were the worst but that mexico was indeed sending their worst here to get rid of them- again it was round after round of nuh uh- he meant all Mexicans are scum- I also defended Trump on the muslim comments he made and said that trump was absolutely correct that we must stop all immigration until we have better vetting process- What he said w3as just a common sense no brainer comment- even though it ‘generlized’ when he said ‘muslims are killing us’- of course he didn’t mean all muslims- but the fact is that muslims are indeed killing us and we need to do everything we can to stop it-

I’ll bet last night’s democratic debate was rife with generalizations too- but I’ll not know as I refuse to listen to them-
