The Iraq war debate was more intense(although probably more one sided), in my opinion.

We needed this ruling seven years ago. In avoiding it's duty, the Court has encouraged this circus today. I hold the Supreme Court at fault for dereliction of duty.

Indeed.

I think we need to stop being emotional about this and let the courts decide.

I recall that almost all of us we’re unglued with the obvious fake BC Obama was touting.

Cruz has a problem. Whether you are for or against him, the matter will solve itself by us saying it’s so. It’s not.

Sorry, Judge Napolitano, it’s not. Sorry, Mark YOU IDIOT Levin, It’s not. Sorry, all you TRump haters out there, it’s not.

Anyone, who thinks it is, is naïve.

Had someone in the GOP/RNC organization had a set of balls in 07/08, maybe America would have been the winner. America is starting to see, AGAIN, what a winner looks like and what a duplicitous, poutine-eating, toque-wearing, Canadian in American clothing looks like.

“Watch out, Donald, particularly since you came out in support of anchor baby citizenship with your “born on the soil” crap in the last debate.”

Wow, that was a really pathetic spin! He said no such thing, parents being citizens being a crucial component, but you obviously have nothing good to say about your candidate so make things up about Trump.

Is that you, Glenn?

Trump has already lost my wife’s vote with some of his antics.
He’s pi$$ing me off too.
Be careful Donald.

While you say it is Kabuki theatre, a lot of people are changing loyalties and rethinking. In the beginning I was sure I would vote for either Cruz or Trump. Now I concern, I won’t have to decide - we will either get Rubio or Jebbie.

Cruz and Trump are taking themselves out because people are sick of the back and forth show. No way I can vote for Trump any more - he is quite liberal as he states himself. Cruz won’t be able to stand against the waves, even if they are false.

Sad thing is, it will elect another Obama.

Or “If I can’t win on policy, I will look for a legal loophole!”.

Is this Trump’s political version of his “file bankruptcy to clean up my mess” business strategy?

Thanks for the clarification.

GS could’ve forgiven part of the loan, making it a campaign contribution, and nobody would know since it is a private loan.

This is not going to go over well with Rush and Levin tomorrow.

I hope Rusb Stabs Trump in the Gut full bore. Watch Trump's poll numbers after that.

If this case is tossed than no suit brought by anyone other than a GOP candidate for President will be tossed as well.

Of course he is.......lawsuits have been Trumps way of life and a major element of his financial successes, not only that it’s the New York way.

I know a very recent event regarding Trump and how he put it to contract construction workers. I have every reason to believe it and it was ugly. Won’t go into what happened, but many took great losses. He set them up and then brought his lawyers in to finish the job.

“Farmers rule! That is such a poignant observation. A bit rough around the edges, sure to create objection. “Have you no honor?” “

Just a figure of speech! I think it explains the anger of Cruz supporters, whose guy can’t overcome Trump as the time narrows.

I don’t know. Was he a liar in September when he said he had his lawyers check everything regarding this non-issue about Cruz’s citizenship or is he a liar now?

Why did Cruz wait so long and why say it was a difficult process to renounce his Canadian citizenship when it was not? So was he a dual citizen as a sitting Senator and did not know it? This is very confusing.

Here are excerpts from the article. It just seems that if this were someone on the left who held dual citizenship and said he did not know it, it would cause a lot of people to pause regarding Cruz electability. I am pro Cruz, but prefer Trump as the next Commander in Chief. This issue will not hurt Trump. His crowds will only grow bigger.

*****************

Ted Cruz, Tea Party favourite, to renounce Canadian citizenship

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz vowed months ago to renounce his Canadian citizenship by the end of 2013. It’s now 2014, and the Calgary-born Republican lawmaker is still a dual citizen.

“I have retained counsel that is preparing the paperwork to renounce the citizenship,” the junior Texas senator, who’s eyeing a run for president in 2016, said in a recent interview with the Dallas Morning News.

He didn’t dispute holding dual citizenship: “Not at this point,” Cruz told the paper.

That’s confounding Canadian immigration lawyers. Renouncing Canadian citizenship, they say, is a simple, quick and straightforward process there’s even an online, four-page PDF form on the Government of Canada website to get the ball rolling without the help of lawyers.
Even though it’s precisely how the law works in the U.S., Cruz has said the news that he possessed dual citizenship came as a surprise to both him and his parents earlier this year.

The lawmaker insists his mother was told when he was a child that her boy would have to take affirmative action to claim Canadian citizenship.

“There was no reason to retain counsel to analyze Canadian law, because it wasn’t relevant to anything I was doing,” Cruz told the Dallas Morning News.

Kurland said he is skeptical.

“He’s a Harvard-educated lawyer so what’s the problem? It’s elementary.”

The number of Canadian citizens who renounce their citizenship annually is 200, according to government figures for 2010-2012. Many do so because some countries, such as China and Indonesia, don’t allow dual citizenship.

It wasn’t Trump’s lawyers that checked it out. He was speaking of lawyers that backed Cruz.
