Yesterday, I wondered why the Bush Super PAC, Right to Rise, that cash guzzling behemoth that has blown through the GDP of a small nation, was crowdfunding a Super Bowl ad rather than just buying it outright. Was it an attempt to be young and edgy? Or is Right to Rise, as I suspect, nearly broke? A lot of other people are asking similar questions:
A prominent donor to Jeb Bush pressed the chief strategist of the "super PAC" supporting Mr. Bush over the groupâs negative ads about Senator Marco Rubio during a closed-door meeting in Manhattan on Friday, according to three people familiar with the encounter.
Mr. Volpert said he was concerned about the way in which the money he was giving to the super PAC was being spent, according to the person who witnessed the exchange.

Going through the motions before it all collapses.
Jeb is conducting his campaign this way to show his big money donors how good he’d bee at spending other people’s money as Potus.
The only one more pathetic than the Joyful Tippt-toes Tortoise Yeb! is Mike Murphy.
We are fortunate that they are so inept.
He’s the “smart” one, correct? ;)
A TV ad during Super Bowl? Mike Murphy must want to get those ad commissions before the Jeb! campaign implodes. It’s the most expensive ad space there is and it doesn’t even fit the target audience. The audience watches those ads to see fast cars, funny dogs, cold beer, and hot women. They sure as heck don’t want someone droning on about Jeb!
Is that billboard for real?! What does it even mean?
This may be the end of Super PACs as we know it. If nobody is buying your candidate’s message, how are you going to raise money?
Living in MA, I am SO sick of seeing Bush give the same speech over and over again at the Citadel, pretending to be a tough guy when he’s really a worthless pantywaist!
Can’t wait till he’s toast in the NH primary so they’ll finally stop and he’ll fade into oblivion.
Super PACS were formed to create work for political consultants not to get candidates elected.

Jeb Bush carries toy turtles in his pocket to remind people that ‘slow and steady wins the race’

The sad truth is ... these super pac’s were nothing but a scam to enrich those running them.
pay yourself millions run a few ads and say you tried to help!
Somehow, I really doubt if "smart" was the actual adjective used at Kennebunkport whenever The Firm discussed the latest doings of Jeb.
Mr. niteowl77
Baffled? They didn’t think he’d spend the money?
Dead in the water and listing badly - time to abandon ship?
;),;),;)
This year is no exception: the big money lobby tried to buy the candidate they thought would win. Bush. They chose poorly, and now we see that all the money in the world won't turn a loser into a winner.
Thanks for the information. That is just creepy!
Question:
Bush lined up many donors last spring. They pledged millions in donations.
Bush is flailing out on the campaign trail.
ARE THESE PLEDGES FROM THESE DONORS MANDATORY?
DOES BUSH HAVE THE RIGHT TO KEEP SPENDING MONEY HE DOESN’T YET HAVE & THEN TO DEMAND THAT THOSE DONORS KEEP THEIR WORD ON THE PLEDGES?
