I don’t care who writes for them, but after several rejections, it pissed me off no-end to see Lifson use my content under his byline without contacting me first.
the psychological interpretation....
Lifson has “Penis Envy.” He has a sense of inadequacy in the face of a “real man”. That’s why he can’t respond.
To apologize, it takes self-confidence. It would mean to actually engage you “man to man” and he is incapable of that...lots like that in the world of academia.
Confident men are not “threatened “by other confident men. They want strong men on their team. They own up to any of their own shortcomings or “mistakes” and eagerly ask others who are competent to join them.
Further analysis would be unfair...albeit, mommy-daddy issues are suspect. ha.
