I just wish Cruz would stop being disingenuous when he says that those born overseas of an American mother are automatically citizens. He knows ( or should know ) that that isn’t the case. It depends on the mothers age and her residency status in the US prior to the birth. By continually saying it the way he is ( and he should cite the law as it stood at the time of his birth ), he gives the impression that Obama would be an automatic citizen also if he were born overseas - which isn’t the case. [ Note : I am not commenting on natural born vs. citizen, just the inheritance of basic citizenship ]
Well I’ll bite my tongue on Hillary and what she might deserve under some sane concept of law.
But anyhow I think her sins were considerably worse than paperwork omissions which could really BE plausibly chalked up to inadvertent error. Cruz fixed the paperwork didn’t he? Not making excuses? Inadvertent error did not drive a lot of the things Hillary said it drove.
Why on earth do you figure Cruz would run if he had ANY doubt about his eligibility? I don’t get it.

It isn’t just any leftist professor...it’s Cruz’s professor who knows very well Cruz’s pre-presidential aspiration beliefs about the constitution.
I’m talking about how “brilliant” Teddy is supposed to be. For someone SO “brilliant” and “learned”, he sure makes a LOT of pathetic and stupid missteps and mistakes. He also lies.
POSSIBLY, ego. That he could somehow, like they say in British courts is not allowed, “Suck and blow in the same breath.” No, don’t compare him to Trump here, you asked a question in HIS case. But he did turn down a lower position in the Bush administration and then treated that like he had simply been snubbed.
He could ease up on the Constitution but that’s probably going to lose him some arch conservative support. But he needs to make some move or it will be forced on him. More likely (IMHO) he will not reconsider on that, and the shadow will keep him behind Trump who doesn’t have an issue like this.

Cruz has demonstrated that he is not worthy of our trust, or the Presidency...
but using Cruz’s opinion. Obama would be a natural born citizen even if he were born in Kenya based on his mom was a US citizen. ( i think Ted’s dad was an naturalized american so it is not quite the same but it is interesting ) — i’m not bashing Cruz
