I see, you want a list of all of your politicians that are for sale.
Yeah, well, he's sure doing something that has the effect of expediting resolution. More people are looking at the issue now, instead of 6 minths from now.
Sometimes, somebody gets burned when a mess is straightened out.
You will have to excuse my defining the word according to the biblical definition as I am a preacher. I probably should have used a different word. Perhaps “forbearance” or some such.
Cruz should have settled this issue before he threw his hat in the ring. It’s his job in the first place to conclude he is eligible. He had to know he was born in Canada, even though he doesn’t identify with being a Canadian.
...Trump's VP race will be interesting. Allen West? Rudy? Petraeus? First of all, I think Cruz would make a spectacular Attorney General and this post would give Cruz the large organization management experience his resume lacks. Petraeus and Rudy are interesting choices. But what about another leader in the business world? Trouble is it's hard to find another businessman who would take the job. Trump is so unique in that regard because he is well-known (Apprentice) and has built a multi-billion dollar company. I'd love to see Petraeus get a big job. My hunch is that Hillary and Obama tried to trap Petraeus and orchestrated the situation to embarrass him because he had the name recognition and experience to go up against Hillary. Petraeus came up with a brilliant plan in Iraq -- and if Obama has stuck to it, we wouldn't be in the situation we're now in. But maybe Trump figures he needs Petraeus to fight ISIS! This is the thrill of going with a guy like Trump: you know he's going to surround himself with winners. That's what he's good at. |
“Courtesy is not weakness. It is a mistake to confuse the two. “
Agreed. But I believe Trump is innately courteous and respectful to people (look at that “walk around the block with Fox News” video that’s often linked here). It’s only when people go after him that he strikes back - as he himself has pointed out repeatedly.
If someone attacks you, there’s no reason to be courteous anymore. That’s why it’s clear the gloves are off with Ted now. I think Trump even tried to give him a last “back off” warning with his “considering you for my VP” comment during the debate, but Cruz either didn’t get it, or didn’t care. Now - he’s fair game.
Pigeons...pigeons everywhere.
Well that explains it Preacher, the Biblical definition of ‘meek’ is indeed different from the secular definition of the world. Considering that, I get what you were saying.
Praise the Lord, and Pass the Ammunition! ;)
Actually, you know what it is? He seems to be a big fat jerk that reminds me of every bully I used to fight to protect those that could not do so themselves in school. I don’t like his approach to life as expressed in this campaign.
That said, I will vote for him, as it appears he will be our candidate. Thanks for helping me think through why I really don’t care for him. Without our discussion, I wouldn’t have really thought it through this much.
The difference is that Trump never tried to hide it. He came out and said it and gave his explanation for it.
The reason Obama got away with so much baggage in his history is because he wrote a book detailing all (most) of it.
The lesson must be - confess all your “sins” up front.
Meek rhymes with weak.
Just sayin’.
;)
Somehow those persons came to believe Cruz was an NBC. Likely by assuming so, unaware there is a Canadian BC.
And how many loans has Trump and his company taken out? What about the bankruptcies? What kind of deals did Trump make with the banks? They must own him, right?
And what about when Soros financed Trump's Chicago tower to the tune of 160 million. Using Trump's logic, has is Trump not owned by Soros?
Trump is really being dishonest.
Trump has always been my second choice. But at this point I can't stand him.
If (when) they pull up dirt, he’ll simply say, “So?” and the argument will be over.
He admits to everything and doesn’t apologize or express shame.
Reminds me of my husband. He does change his behavior and has improved as a man and a human being over time, but he doesn’t see groveling as a necessary step in self-improvement.
You hoser.
What are you all aboot?
Please, dear God, do not ever say that woman’s name again.
You know, there has been A great deal of vitriol between the followers of Cruz and Trump. Neither is as bad as the other says, and I hate to see our candidates do the job that should be left to the other side.
