Well, I don’t trust Trump either, but then again I don’t trust any of the candidates. Cruz has shown himself to not exactly be perfectly trustworthy either as of late.
The reason I support Trump is more that he’s the only one on the stage who I believe CAN do it. Even if Cruz gets into office, it’s not likely that he’ll have the popular support needed to push through conservative or even moderate reforms.
As for Trump, if he does even a third of what he says he’s going to do, then we’re far better off than where we were, as opposed to the other candidates who, even if they had the will to do so, would probably not have the ability to take on the establishment and win—a trait that Trump has shown that he is quite able to do.
And if he does none of what he says he’s going to do, then we’re no worse off than we were before.
