BTW, most Manhattanites are not New Yorkers...they are imports from around the country and around the world.
New Yorkers are those who grew up in the city (Trump and Giuliani come to mind).
I say this as someone who lived in NYC most of his career.
Cruz blew it big time.
My family has been in Manhattan since just after the Civil War and it's the damned transplants that give ALL REAL NEW YORKERS a bad name.
Team Cruz is spinning so fast to paint Trump a NY Liberal that they are forgetting that two can play this game. Now the Super Pac ads will cut Cruz to pieces for being a typical hypocritical politician: “Goldman Sachs’ Principled Conservative”.
