Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz issued an apology to "millions of New Yorkers" at a campaign event Friday - but it's probably not the one they were looking for.
"I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who have been let down by liberal politicians," Cruz told an audience in South Carolina.

Didnt happen to me, guess Im the lucky one. Went to Beverly Hills elementary school starting from the 6th grade and continued on to high school. I think if someone believes in Conservative values even when someone is trying to throw liberalism in their face it won’t matter. I guess you can say Im stubborn, NO ONE changes my mind about anything :-)
It does appear to be too many people speaking with a forked tongue. But who those people are is just one opinion against another. I have mine, you have yours, etc.

Here is his actual apology if anyone wants to hear the truth:
“Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio have all demanded an apology and I’m happy to apologize.
I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who have been let down by liberal politicians in their state.
I apologize to the hard working men and women of the State of New York who have been denied jobs because Gov. Cuomo won’t allow fracking Even though there are high paying jobs just south in Pennsylvania, New Yorkers are denied the ability to provide for their families.
I apologize to all of the pro-life and pro-marriage and pro-Second Amendment New Yorkers who are told by Governor Cuomo that they have no place in New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.
I apologize to all of the small businesses who have been driven out of New York by crushing taxes and regulations.
I apologize to all of the African-American citizens who Mayor de Blasio tried to throw out of their charter schools that wee providing a lifeline to the American dream.
And I apologize o all of the cops and the firefighters and 9/11 heroes wo had no choice but to stand and turn their backs on Mayor de Blasio because Mayor de Blasio over and over again stands with the looters and criminals rather than the brave men and women of the law.

Not sure if I should post to you but ...
I am a little worried about Trump versus Hillary if that happens ... neither side is a sure thing right now.
I personally think Biden will end up being the Dem nominee and then Trump will be okay.
But using his bombast against a woman might very well turn people off, whereas Ted Cruz would dissect her with an elegant scalpel that would leave her bleeding but him still looking like a gentleman.
Trump’s possible better chances in the general were the main reason I was for him until recently. Now I’m not so sure.
A lot of people cannot stand Trump ... I mean out in the real world.
I don’t think Ted Cruz should be written off.
He did not start out with the name and face recognition that Trump did.
Maybe not that well known outside of Texas and a few e-Senators who despise him.
Trump is making him well known and digging his own grave in the process. Because people who know Cruz like him, whereas the better people know Trump ... not so much.
I think Ted Cruz has a chance to pull this off and obviously the Trumpster thinks so also.
Not sure you can trust Trump to pick a conservative for VP if he gets the nomination.
At this point I’m not sure we can trust him about much at all.

Trump, is positioned nicely without having to say anything at this point. He can win over the liberals as well as the conservatives and now win the state both for the primary and the national election.
Cruz gets what he wants also, but did he apologize to Trump?
Every liberal politician in and around NY came out in defense of NY on TV and in print.
This defense and with Trump sounding off against Cruz's statement only ties The New York Value Man( this is new name for Trump after this fiasco) tighter to the liberal politicians that are so associated with NY politics.
With this tie comes Trump automatic tie to their policies. Such as taxing, gun control, abortion, single payer health care and NOT conservative principles
See, Cruz is spanking Trump all over the US with one little statement and Trump is too slow witted to know it. He does not have his board of directors in front of him shielding him from the flack. He is not the power broker you Trumpeteers think he is. Yawl are just drinking the kool-aid like the Obama supporters did and will not listen to facts.

First of all, a lawyerly approach with Hillary, at a debate is a sure loss for her opponent! She doesn't play by the rules, doesn't really debate, and is probably worse, now, than she was when she "debated" Rick Lazio.
Trump know exactly how to push her buttons and make her shut up; Cruz doesn't and Trump won't "yell at her".
She may or may not be the nominee.
Depending on how long everything takes, re the FBI case etc., it may be too late in the game, for Biden to get in/get his name on the ballot.
Bernie is NUTS! And he doesn't get the sames supporters as Obama had, nor does Hillary, for that matter.
I know a LOT of people, in many different states and they tell me about others that they know, that I don't and all of them are for Trump!He may make some clutch at their pearls, others turn up their collective noses at him, but a VERY large portion of the populace are all 100% for him and loyal to him.
Your daydreaming and wishful thinking will soon prove how wrong you are.
Not defined is not known. Until he does, I have no idea what he is implying about what New York values are. Which is why it was a stupid thing to say.
