“You must be born ON USA SOIL!!”
The first naturalization act passed by Congress was a mere 18 months from their ratification of the Constitution. In it Congress specifically named children born to citizens outside of the US as “natural born citizens”. There is nothing in the Constitution or any applicable naturalization law that absolutely requires being born on US soil in order to be a natural born citizen.
It is absolutely in the constitution!! Clear as a bell. Cruz will lose this fight real bad. NEWT for VP!!
