Actor Sean Penn is breaking his silence about his trip to Mexico to meet notorious drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman. In an interview for this Sunday's "60 Minutes," Penn spoke to "CBS This Morning" co-host Charlie Rose Thursday night in Santa Monica to talk about his seven hours with Guzman.

I saw his interview where he said he wasn’t afraid .... but he was so puckered that he had to squeeze the words out so as not to mess himself.
The dumbass should have watched a novela or two on Telemundo instead of getting a Telemundo actress in Miami to get him an intro-I watch a couple of the 9pm narco mafia series on Telemundo-Spanish language “Breaking Bad”-and even in those, if someone gives up a narco to the DEA or Marinas, or other law enforcement in Mexico, they end up shot execution style in a very short time-the only characters that survive to get a new life drop the dime in some other country, and get a new identity in a witness program in some country other than Mexico, Colombia or Venezuela-the further away the better-like Spain or Chile...
I remember reading some American historical fiction about Indians chopping off various parts of your body, roasting them and eating them...while you watched and we’re slowly dying. Not sure if it was true or apocryphal, but it sounds plausible. Hadn’t thought about that in years and it still gives me the willies.
Nice shirt! But I guess I can’t buy one ‘cause of cultural appropriation and all....sigh
By the way, anyone else suspect that Sean’s been sticking needles in his butt? I mean, I’ve never heard of him spending a lot of time in the gym....
That lopping off of parts was also done in Europe and Britain on order of several monarchs-as in Edward the second and third, the Spanish Inquisition, and a cast of others...
Zetas have been on a decline, there insane blood lust have gotten them nearly wiped off, Zetas worship saint morte (saint death) and its members have a deathwish like rushing police stations to kill as many cops before they get gunned down.
Another group popped up similar to that called the knights Templar but they are on a decline because of that. Groups like that are dangerous in short term but not in the longer because they burn out.
The gulf cartel and sinaloca are far more buisness wise then to send its members on suicide missions.
now eric canter the genius decided to arm the gulf cartel and sinaloca because he viewed them as lesser evil only to forget that groups like sinaloca and the gulf cartel will be around for a long time and are far more dangerous in the long term , groups like zetas and knights templar last for short time.
Theres a picture i have seen of a person who had been skinned alive then they cut his heart out, can i post the picture on free republic ?

Kate del Castillo.
From the link: "Newly released text messages from Guzman's phone shows how much he wanted to meet Castillo, yet had no idea who Penn was."
I have a thing for her too.
You certainly can. But you may not.
Penn really should take this opportunity to move abroad-and to stay away from places like LA, Miami and Chicago in the meantime-if not, he might end up like a lot of John Gotti’s enemies did...
Look how can we confront the evil of these if deny to see what they do?
And those are some of the tame ones kid you not
I mean reality is cruel and we should not shy away from what is being done across the border
“How much do you like guns, now, Sean?”
At this very moment, he’s sitting in Anderson Cooper’s house, trying to take apart that “sculpture” Charlize Theron had him make out of his gun collection. (Jeff Koons actually made it.)
.
It can only happen to someone who plays himself in a grade C movie.
I’d guess that Mr. Penn has enough cash to hire a platoon of Marine and Ranger vets to protect his sorry ass. But how long will the cash last? His best bet might be hiding out in Tibet with the hiniyana buddhists and hope they can’t be bought off.
A lot of us have a thing for her, but few of us have an army available to bring her to us.
