The amazing thing to me is that Trump is going against a TRAINED debater...a guy who led a championship team in college ...whose whole stock in trade is wordsmithing.
Even Rubio knocked Ted around pretty well. Ted’s little birther statement was obviously prepared and rather bizarre when he brought up “some extremists” who say you have to have 2 American citizens born on the soil and then be born on the soil yourself. This just reminded me of Hillary and her bizarre nonsense while trying to make her no good excuses...similar strategy. I actually didn’t think TC’s defense was all that clever - how about actual law as a defense, not B.S.?

Yes it was sleight of hand tactics by Cruz there. Or the old lawyer saying may apply, if you don’t have the facts, law nor the Constitution on your side, pound the desk with your fist. ;^)
Pretty amazing, but Donald Trump is a master. Even Krauthammer was stunned that Cruz screwed up the NY values thing and awed at Trump’s response.
