Trump Won

For some time now, people who believe in the theory of Donald Trump's inevitable demise have thought that he'd either say something so outrageous that voters would finally reject him or he'd perform so poorly in debates that voters would flee to more polished candidates. Well, it's safe to say that the outrageous comments theory had been discredited, and - after tonight's debate - it's clear that Trump isn't going to beat himself in direct competition with his colleagues. ...

The bottom line? Going into the debate, Trump had a solid lead. There was nothing that happened to dissuade Trump's followers. Indeed, he likely inspired the plurality that support him - persuading them that he's ready for more debates, including an ultimate confrontation with Hillary Clinton.

Right on!!! Best Pubbie contest ever. I’ll joyously vote for whomever wins, but support Trump until the winner’s determined.

Cruz should have sung “New York New York” by Sinatra on last night’s debate stage. ;-)

No, it appears the song was “I Did It My Way” ;)

>>At this rate, a Trump vs. Hillary contest could be a WWE pay-per-view event.

>>If so, I want to see them go at each other with the folding chairs. I’d pay good money to see that.

Yah, that would be beyond popcorn. He’d wipe the floor with Bernie Sanders as well. The lobotomites will come to terms with reality only when they hear their own bones begin to snap, see their eyeballs roll like jackpots and hear the steam hissing out their ears...

You invoked William Buckley, for reasons known only to you.

I invoked him because Trump used him as a prop last night at the debate.

If I mistakenly linked your comment to the eligibility claims that trump is using to his benefit, then that's my bad.....I made a instant assumption that it was because numerous trump supporters are making that argument..

If so, I apologize for jumping the shark..But to be fair and balanced, trumps mother was a naturalized citizen as well.

If hillary goes down, the libs and their MSM lackeys have no backup. Even the dark horse that they are banking on will go down like a lead balloon, and either Trump or Cruz will be there to shoot that ballon down.

No he’s not. Check before speaking.

After Cruz graduated from the University of Texas in 1961, he was granted political asylum in the United States following the expiration of his student visa.[1] He became a Canadian citizen during his residence in Canada, returning to the United States with his family in the mid-’70s. He renounced his Canadian citizenship and in 2005 became a naturalized U.S. citizen.[1][31

Yeah, the furniture gets thrown about every 4 years. The nastiness level is about the same, I think there are just a lot more paid posters/disruptors than in the past.

The way this election is going is very bad from the perspective of the political establishment. Their preferred candidate in the rat faction is having some issues to put it mildly. And their preferred candidates in the gop faction are getting knocked down like dominoes. Boom. Boom. Boom.

So the political establishment may well be looking at a choice between Bernie and Trump in the general. They lose either way. They’re pulling the stops and part of that is sending in the paid posters/disruptors.

If things go as I believe they will, it’ll quiet down in about 2 months. When (if) Trump runs the table and her thighness is in serious trouble with Bernie, the focus will change.

No worries FRiend. Things are so confusing around here lately that it’s not difficult to occasionally get things turned around. I ‘get’ what you’re saying. Regardless of Trump’s motivations, I think that he has done Cruz a favor by getting this out in the open, the alternative could have been Ted Cruz prevailing at the convention, becoming the nominee, and all of a sudden here comes Congressman Alan Grayson (D-Daft, FLA) and his looney tune lawsuit, but if the ‘RATs can tie things up in court, we all know they’ll try it.

Cruz was playing dominoes....
Trump was playing chess.

Cruz left that door wide open, and Trump rightfully went through.

9/11 will never go away.....and New York values rose to the occasion

“I can’t recall a single time that Luntz has been right about anything.”

Well, he’s had to eat crow on his early mantra that “Trump Can’t Win.” More recently, he’s said he was wrong. That said, who knows how FNC picks their idiot “panel’s.” There are very few of them who have a triple digit IQ, that’s for sure.

No the difference is that McShamey and Mittless were the folks that the Mitches and Bushes and Barbours wanted.

Those folks hate Trump. They have said they will stay home if Trump is it. Good let em a whole lot more useful people will be happy to get and vote for the Donald

we all know they’ll try it.

Sure, but they have already tried to get him off the ballot in a couple states..re: Eligibility.

Those were dismissed.

As a legal matter, a suit would have no standing unless and until he is elected. We just went through that with Obama.

Obama's case is, as you know, not the same.

But yes, I would be in error if I claimed that there will not be a legal challenge. It's as predictable as the sun rise.
