For some time now, people who believe in the theory of Donald Trump's inevitable demise have thought that he'd either say something so outrageous that voters would finally reject him or he'd perform so poorly in debates that voters would flee to more polished candidates. Well, it's safe to say that the outrageous comments theory had been discredited, and - after tonight's debate - it's clear that Trump isn't going to beat himself in direct competition with his colleagues. ...
The bottom line? Going into the debate, Trump had a solid lead. There was nothing that happened to dissuade Trump's followers. Indeed, he likely inspired the plurality that support him - persuading them that he's ready for more debates, including an ultimate confrontation with Hillary Clinton.

“Fully half the population has a below average IQ...”
But in NYC where most of these “focus groups” come from, the numbers are quite likely below the average. All you have to do is watch a couple of East Coast “man on the street” sessions with Jesse Watters to know that public education there is an abject failure!
I think they will fall back to Liz Warren.
She promised VALJAR she would keep her on as ‘Senior Aide to the President’.
Don't worry. If Trump wins the nomination, the DEMS will be bringing that up.
I'm sure they would make personal attacks on his hair as well.
Unfortunately, we have been letting that half run the country.
Let’s wait and see what the polls show next week. It could be that Rubio will move into 2nd place and knock Cruz down.
Oh, I am not worried about something that is easily predictable.
What I am worried about, and frankly it has become nearly 100% predicable so my worry has been fading, is the fall of the US Republic.
I/WE have a plethora of important if not absolutely critical issues facing this country and judicial nominees are at the top of the list.
If you look back at some of the statements made by the founders, they apparently were concerned about that at the very beginning.
The few times that I have watched Luntz’s dunce group, I can only watch for a few minutes before I get disgusted and change the channel.
It’s usually only a few minutes before some guy or gal says I’m so tired of Washington not working together and getting anything done...Click.
“Rush said Cruz won. Guess he went GOPe.”
Perhaps, but given what Rush says about Rubio, I’m surprised Rush didn’t call Rubio the winner.
If all the 1% to 10% candidates stay in, it is certain that either Trump or Cruz will go to the convention with a mere plurality. Not good at all, it leaves way to much room for the GOPe to maneuver and manipulate.
I still luv you.

You’ll still try to negate my vote!!!! : )
If McC and his cohorts stay home, Rand Paul goes down too.
Excellent.
Trump said Cruz has Calgary values.
ROTFLOL.
Okay - I have to confess that I try to stay out of the political end of the arguments. I admire Trump's wit, adore the way he sticks it to the media, yet I'm not sure at this point if I trust him any more than I do the rest of 'em. But, hey - at least I know he's eligible.
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. :-)
Wow!!!
It’s over Cruzniks. Get on the Trump Train or get the hell out of the way.
Excellent!
