The Hateful Eight is bombing at the box office because the novelty is gone from Tarantino’s one-trick-pony act and everyone is finally waking up to how horrible his films are. I have not seen one movie by him that I thought was good. Pulp Fiction and Sin City were OK — not good; just OK — and the rest were trash.
I saw Inglorious Basterds because my son really wanted me to see it with him. It was mildly entertaining but basically silly. I couldn’t make it through Pulp Fiction. 10 minutes of Django Unchained was all I could manage.
I liked "Reservoir Dogs" and thought "Pulp Fiction" was vastly overrated. After watching a few minutes of "Kill Bill" I knew Tarantino was mostly a hack.
