Donald Trump rips 'son of a b----' who set up faulty mic at campaign rally
Business Insider ^ | 1/13/16 | Colin Campbell

Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump blasted the unnamed "bastard" responsible for setting up a faulty sound system at a Wednesday-night campaign rally.

"And by the way, I don't like this mic," Trump said after criticizing US trade policy with China during his speech in Pensacola, Florida.

The Republican presidential front-runner then crudely instructed his staff to not pay the person responsible.

"Whoever the hell brought this mic system, don't pay the son of a b----," he said.

Trump added: "This mic is terrible. Stupid mic keeps popping. Do you hear that George? Don't pay him! Don't pay him. You know, I believe in paying, but when somebody does a bad job like this stupid mic, you shouldn't pay the bastard. Terrible. Terrible. It's true."

Snappy comeback. That’s all you can say, because there isn’t a good answer for any of that and you know it.

Probably not the best argument to make considering a little over a year ago...

Have noticed that Trump is using profanity at his rallies. He should hold himself to a higher standard if he wants to lead a country. What is his Moral Code and does he even have one?

Jim Robinson tries to hold this forum to a higher standard, when you go to make a reply you'll see "Please: No Profanity". That is being conservative.

If Trump can’t get Hillary elected so she can do her own cover up then Trump will do the cover up for Hillary.

Trump can’t run the risk of having the Clinton/democrat dirt come out because it’s going to reflect on him as to “What did Trump know and when did he know it” with his unwavering support of the Clintons and other democrats.

Is Trump so sensitive and insecure that a non-functional mic embarrasses him?

It’s part of being conservative for sure.

I hate to say it but I’m beginning to believe that this once great forum is losing it’s collective soul.

People who want to work ‘for this guy’ are people who are competent and take pride in what they do.

“Sensitive and insecure” would apply to the one who _doesn’t_ react to a non-functional mic which IS embarrassing him.

why would a mic embarrass you? Does Trump depend on a mic for his self-esteem?

Perhaps he does. It would explain a lot.

I expect the President to be Presidential. Class, style, grace are all words which should describe a Statesman.

Hillary’s legal problems are like a crack in the Hoover Damn, and that crack is getting bigger.

When it breaks it’s all over there is no stopping it.

Doc# AFGP-2002-600321, when Osama bin Laden himself points fingers at the Clintons for collaborating with the terrorist people might want to pay attention.

No, it’s a fine argument to make. I don’t fault a private citizen, particularly one in a business that requires good will from politicians to get things done, for playing politics.

I do, however, have a huge problem with an ELECTED OFFICIAL like Ted Cruz, telling us one thing and then actively undermining his words with his actions.

It takes an act of bravery to post a Christian conservative comment. Some are here to disrupt other’s have just lost the plot.

Yes, from reading the print media it sounds very bad,

I with held judgement until I heard the audio....and then I laughed with the audience. He was funny, and he was right!

While I disagree with his attacks on Senator Cruz, I saw this morning that the Texas AG filed a citizenship case vs Senator Cruz. Hopefully this will be done with when Senator Cruz takes his oath of office.and he can get this country back on track.

The old, “that’s my story and I’m sticking to it” argument.

Effective.

Exactly right. Wouldn't that be refreshing?

It’s a hell of a lot more effective than your “I don’t have an answer, so I’ll just throw everything I can find at the wall to see what sticks” argument.
