... Mr. Cruz has repeatedly been described as the least liked among the Republican candidates. That may still be true. But to the audience, he kept ways to show a different side â a slyly humorous and even personable one.
Know one has mentioned that I have heard Trump getting booed.
Anyone else? Media black out?
Maria said it was so sweet, Ted kept going to his youngest daughter during each break.
Bambi and DT are so alike in trashing MSM and all opposition, I really don’t want to have 4 more years of that.
Oh, yes, we all heard it. It’s just that it is too uncomfortable for some people to talk about.
Let’s face it, nearly everyone on FR is firmly dug in. They are not changing whom they give support. The rest of the country is just now beginning to pay attention, at least in the early primary states.
For those who haven’t been paying much attention but watched last night’s debate to get a sense of the candidates, these are the things that most likely stood out:
Trump was booed several times. That registers.
Cruz destroyed Trump in the most memorable exchange of the night, the birther issue.
Trump rallied hard and walloped Cruz on the NY values exchange. With a baseball bat.
Trump’s China responses came across as rambling and incoherent. The voter figured out that China is bad, something they can agree with, but have no idea what Trump was going on about.
Cruz faded into the background towards the end of the debate but by then most people had already tuned out.
I think Cruz won, but I am already a partisan in the matter, as are you. The typical non-FR viewer will probably see it as:
Cruz won the debate and they can picture him as president but why does this guy have all these scandals?
Trump was the strongest leader on the stage but people boo him a lot. He must be really wrong about stuff.
Neither hurt. Neither helped. That’s just my take on it trying to see things as someone who hasn’t paid attention to the race thus far.
