I lived there 10 years.

Anyone who says NY’ers aren’t emotional clearly hasn’t spent a whole lot of time there or wasn’t paying attention.

I saw grown men, police officers, cry when the towers fell.

I saw my Brooklyn born boss squall like a baby when the towers fell.

Clearly, unemotional /s.

We went to NYC a few days after the attack and I will say you would be wrong.
