That is pretty screwed. I am from L.A. I would be insulted if they said that about my liberal city too. Cruz shouldn’t have gone there. What, he doesn’t need NY votes???

Cruz has put all his eggs in the Iowa basket. Most say if Trump loses Iowa, he'll survive but Cruz won't. So he was appealing to Iowa talking about those nasty city folk.
Cruz is right about NY....9/11 didn’t change New Yorkers from all the rest of their history.
