Trump basically said, just get it done, now instead of later.
I don't care what he says. Trump says a lot of things and then pivots. He said earlier in the year that there was no issue with Cruz being eligible, now Cruz is ahead in some Iowa polls and presto-change Trump changes his tune once again.
Everything Trump says is opportunistic. It is not based on a solid set of constitutional conservative principles, but what he thinks he needs to say in the moment to win.
