For months, Ted Cruz has laughed off Donald Trump's barbs, berated reporters who mentioned him and gone to near-comic lengths to publicly express enthusiasm for the real estate mogul's rival candidacy.
Cruz isn't laughing anymore.

He is just counter-punching!
The beauty of all of this is that the majority of Cruz’s attacks are utterly ineffective. The “he’s getting the birther thing from Hillary!’ only benefits Trump’s point: “The Democrats will sue you!” The “values” attack and his holier than thou air, even throwing around “God bless yous” after pontificating about the eeevils of New York, is off putting. Is there a point where Cruz’s Evangelical pandering will turn off Evangelicals? I don’t know.
Then there are Cruz’s backers who, obviously, have all received marching orders lately to spam the interwebs with their hate. Erick Erickson, Mark Levin et al all come off as whiny, hysterical pricks. Their attacks have a better chance to raise Trump’s numbers and nuke themselves among all that audience.
Which will just get him flat on his back in a knockout, after Trump hits back!
He shouldn’t have poked the bear.

And Ted imagines that he'll somehow get Trump supporters, should Trump implode ( which is NOT going to happen! ) after saying this? ROTFLMSOPIMP

Well seriously, first he’s criticized for being too nice, now he’s criticized for fighting back. It is probably the birther issue, nonsense that it is, it does appeal to the ill-informed, and Trump has to know this. Funny thing is, all I have to do to get one of these ill-informed folks in my circle of friends to reconsider Cruz is tell them about Kelo. Trump is so bad for America it isn’t funny, but here on FR, where we’re supposed to know better, it is heresy to say so. A truly upside-down world in which we live.

I've always marvelled at the faith of Cruz supporters (most of whom have histories of being consistently wrong and delusional, such as yourself and your early "Russia isn't invading Ukraine!" and "Ukrainians are Nazis!" stuff), as there is nothing that actually supports the idea that Ted Cruz is some kind of mega punch out artists. If the attacks we have seen are all Cruz has going for him, his numbers are going to keep plummeting.
Ted Cruz was born AFTER the Apollo moon landing. Those of you that watched the Apollo moon landing in July 1969, Ted Cruz wasn’t born for another 1 1/2 years. Do we really need a inexperienced kid in the White House?

The birther issue isn’t going away. Cruz is not eligible and that is according to the constitution. Read it, try to understand it, and your apology will be accepted.

Cruz reportedly had dinner with the Robertson family on Sunday and joined Robertson duck hunting on Monday.
The Commander stated...."My qualifications for president of the United States are rather narrow:... Is he or she godly, does he or she love us,... can he or she do the job,... and finally, would they kill a duck and put him in a pot and make him a good duck gumbo?..".... he said in a video posted Wednesday.
"I've looked at the candidates. Ted Cruz is my man. He fits the bill," Robertson said. "He's godly, he loves us, he's the man for the job and he will go duck hunting ... because today we're going."
"Ted Cruz is my man, I'm voting for him."

“Never been elected to anything” is the greatest news of all.
Saving our country is not going to be done by electing a typical political fraud. Cruz is not eligible anyway. He knows it, but thought he could sneak through like Obama did.
