Trump’s all-out offensive raising questions about Cruz’s eligibility because of his birth in Canada – widely held to be a non-issue by constitutional experts — has arrested Cruz’s upward momentum but not caused a collapse. But while Cruz has barely dropped in the polls as a result, he cannot merely survive under siege from Trump if he means to win the nomination.

I think it’s the other way ‘round, they hate Cruz, fear Trump.
Trump is a billionaire with a big stick, a loud mouth, and brings ratings/$$$ to the media. Cruz is that mouthy freshmen senator who didn’t play by THEIR rules.
Lets be real folks... This birther attack on Cruz was a throw away that the GOPe Senators picked up and ran with. The way the ENTIRE GOPE threw Cruz under the bus gives me pause... They want to clear the field of Cruz and make this a Marco/Trump race.
But then this Goldman Sacks loan came up... Why? Who would do this, who has reach and power in Texas to dig this up??? The Bushies most likely...
Jeb is spending $30 million on negative ads against Rubio. Jeb’s team feels they can make this a JEB vs TRUMP race by blowing everyone else out of the water...
So right now folks we got four factions - Outsider Trump, Outsider Cruz, vs GOPe Rubio, GOPe Jeb.
Be smart, know whats going on, and don’t be fooled. The GOPe wants to clear Cruz and Trump off the map. They and the dems are the real enemy.
I’ll tell you something I learned a long time ago... Never underestimate your opponent, and never take your eyes off of them until their on the ground and out.
Trump is a master at the media game, a master of communication, marketing, and branding. Look what has happened to everyone who has tangled with him... Even Hillary and Bill Clinton got smashed by Trump, just look at her poll numbers before, and after she attacked him.
Cruz is brilliant, and he’s going to have to be his very best to win this. Be confident, but don’t get cocky.

Jeb, Cruz, and Rubio are nobodies as far as middle class America is concerned. Only the oligarchs are backing these three. For average Americans who hate DC and hate politics and hate the media, it is Trump all the way.

The article you are referring too was a smear on Cruz that will do no real damage. The loan was simply a loan against the funds he had in his money market account. Not much different than when you make a cash draw on your credit card. There was nothing corrupt or even suspect about the loan, it also was reported in his financial disclosure before the election. The only wrinkle was that it was not included on the FEC form. This was a mistake and could possibly result in a fine from the FEC but given the fact that it was publically reported in the financial disclose there was no conspiracy here.
I have a tough time believing any poll that shows Jeb! about 0%.
I mean seriously, there is nothing about that guy, nothing at all. 100% total dud.
Ted Cruz was born AFTER the Apollo moon landing. Those of you that watched the Apollo moon landing in July 1969, Ted Cruz wasn’t born for another 1 1/2 years. Do we really need a inexperienced kid in the White House?

It is a non-issue. Not going anywhere legally. Total fear-mongering by Trump. Despicable behavior for someone who should know better. After all, just the other day he was bragging how he’s like a lawsuit PHD. So I cut him no slack. He has to know its bogus.
