This is really interesting from the point of view that Trump makes it clear he wants to win Iowa. He talks about his view on anchor babies and illegal immigration. He also goes into what is happening in China and that China is doing just fine. Todd asks Trump about how to deal with North Korea. Trump is very consistent from 6 months ago. Talks about the Muslim immigrants. A very interesting interview.
Thanks for posting.
The media doesn’t know what to do about Trump. They fear him.
Maybe they realize that he can now become president and they need to keep in his good graces for future interviews. They may have a newly found respect for him because of what he has achieved in the last 6 months.
Thanks so much for posting this. (I missed it on Sunday.)
The whole interview is terrific!
I agree, they have begun to think that the next POTUS is sitting there and they want access in the future. Trump is not likely to give access to reporters who are jerks to him.
I was surprised Trump agreed to go on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd, as he was so p.o.ed at him for inaccurate polls. Trump must’ve told him, I’ll come on one more time, but you better be “nice”.
Wolf respectful? Yes he got his assed kicked in an earlier interview. How soon we forget.
“What strikes me about Chuck Todd is that his attitude is very different towards Trump. He is much, much more respectful. I noticed the same thing with Wolf Blitzer. These news people are much more respectful towards Trump. Interesting. “
Oh, yes indeed! Both myself and Mrs. Catnipman noted the same thing, particular in contrast to the snarky, gotcha interviews these same folks did with Trump a few weeks ago.
Mrs. Catnipman said it’s because these folks can see the hand writing on the wall, and hey know that Trump is our next President and they’re angling for some quid pro quo come Presidential interview time in a year.
What you posted PLUS they can also see that Hillary is an EXTREMELY bad news candidates for the Dims, which adds up to a likely landslide for Trump. These people eat, drink, and eat politics for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and they have access to information that even we at FR don’t. I believe that the smart ones of them believe that the election is essentially over for all practical purposes and that Trump has won.
It could be that Todd and Blitzer saw what happened to Stephanopolis when he tried to cross examine Trump and got slapped silly.

Interesting!
I was listening to Rush today and he said that the establishment Republicans have some real problems with the electorate, but the democrats are even worse in total shambles. He pointed out that it looked more and more that Sanders was going to win Iowa and New Hampshire which spells catastrophe for Hillary because the establishment democrats are stuck with a losing candidate. If she gets indicted then we are talking total meltdown. They now have the choice of drafting Biden at some point which spells chaos.
And if the markets collapse and the economy goes into obvious recession then may as well swear Trump in now.
George tried real hard...lost bad.

This is happening on Morning Joe also, daily, as in without fail! The people are awakening and seeing who is the FORCE, out there. His name is TRUMP.
I believe he likely sweeps the election!
I simply am amazed how nice and polite all these news people are. O’Reilly was on some ABC news show and sounded like Trump’s press secretary defending him during the whole interview.
Wondering if O’Reilly wants the job!
