Was Reagan a go along get along guy? NO. But Reagan was wise enough to know that you have to be able to sit down with folks to get anything done.
There is only three ways to get things done in Washington:
1. Sit down with other politicians to make deals
2. Behave like Obama, executive fiat
3. Utilize the media to get people on their side (Bully Pulpit).
A Trump presidency will use all the arrows in his quiver, like Reagan did. Cruz has fewer arrows at his disposal. He has not been ineffective thus far with #1 or #3. Obama has used #2 & #3.
