Trump's mother Mary Macleod Trump was born Mary MacLeod on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland on May 10, 1912.
On a visit to New York City in the 1930's, she met Fred C. Trump.
They married in 1936 and settled in Jamaica Estates, and Mr. Trump went on to become one of the city's biggest developers.
