I am aware of that.

The point is that Levin’s opinion on Cruz’s eligibility, much like everyone else’s opinion on Cruz’s eligibility, doesn’t matter.

I think ted Cruz is eligible. Does my opinion matter? No.

A judge’s opinion will matter.

Your opinion matters to you. And same goes for every person who has to ponder the question.

When I say the question is easy to resolve, I figure that some people will resolve it one way, and others, the other way. But it's 100% correctly resolved for each individual, even though others disagree.

I see the risk to Cruz as vote erosion, not formal disqualification by some mystic authority. And it's probably better to resolve it without consulting the mystic authority. Whichever way the mystic goes is just going to cost it credibility, because some people will see the decision as incorrect.
