WOW...........the above info shoots a hole larger than a locomotive through the story being floated...........
This story does not hold water. They both broke down or ran out of gas at the same time? Their communication systems on both boats failed at the same time? The Navy lost them, but the Iranians found them immediately? They are going to be returned immediately, but that has been hours ago? etc...
This is weird... last time my brother was in that area it was dark and they were so alert for Iranians everyone had itchy trigger fingers... in ‘peacetime.’ One crewman in my brother’s craft dropped one of those heating discs in a drink bottle and dropped it overboard so it would drift past the second Mark V ... when it did the bottle burst and all hell broke loose on the second boat as they thought they had been shot at and began firing themselves at the unknown assailants...and the first boat joined in because no one saw the crewman drop the bottle. Of course that could be sea story bull, but maybe it’s true. The Iranian speedboats are usually run by the IRG not their conventional Navy and they are notorious assholes, I can’t picture a US sailor willing to comply with them after what Iran’s done in the past to captured Americans... and as redundant as his boat was a breakdown would not stop them.
I wonder if this was a staged thing intended to show that Iran is ‘changed’ for the purposes of an upcoming vote on sanctions... seems like there was another ‘let’s show America they’re human’ incident when Obama was trying to ease up on Iran a couple years ago. This just happens to occur when dingleberry gives his SOTU? Let’s see if he uses it.
Radio said one crewman’s a woman?
Sounds like a coverup
Two boats
One boat can tow the other boat
Maybe a spy mission
Very possible..... ping me if ya find more information..... i’m searching as well.
I wonder if these are Mark Vs instead of the rubber river jobs because Mark Vs each have a crew of 5 men not counting “passengers” ...and they have range - not unusual to be far offshore, or near Iran. So two boats mean ten crew, just what Iran is claiming. If that’s the case though... this’ll be awkward.
There are at least 5 com whip attennae shown below. There is probably more in the covered ET gear. If this was a mission or training exercise, there would have been portable comgear in a pack.
There is no way all of the comm gear went out at once on both boats and both the boats became disabled unless there was sabotage on the mother ship.
Here’s an account of the old incident with the Brits, who had deployed in inflatable craft:

The link below takes anyone to how Reagan had our Navy rip the hell out some Iranian Navy forces:
More likely the IRG’s just being the IRG and is rubbing Obama’s nose in it because they can... on the day of his SOTU... to make themselves look tough before their people.
Day one of next administration should be to stop all foreign aid to those who sponsor terrorism or drug trade ....... Time to cut off the funds to those nations.
The Iranians -judging by their incident with the British... and maybe our sailors are in similar craft- probably aim to use the incident to prove they can humiliate a bigger power by forcing the US to “confess” that its boats entered Iran’s waters ... making us the “aggressor.” Anything they do after that they can claim is in response to aggression, etc. Our prez is such a puss and desperate for their deal, it must be hard for them to resist tweaking us every chance they get.
Can Lance Armstrong’s vacated biking awards be given to John Kerry?
Are these guys aweigh yet?
That's what we were told by Josh Earnest, right?
Another case of Iranians trying to create an incident was when trying to disrupt things on the eve of a Bush visit to the ME in January 2008. They made threats to blow up our ships and then swarmed some of our ships in the straight of Hormuz with speedboats.
It would be a disaster if these are two Mark V SOC boats, because only Seals have those. Not regular Navy.
And if Mark V's, these guys aren't coming home any time soon.
Bttt
