So does their candidate. "These Boots Were Made For Walkin'" is, by now, comfortably retro and uncomfortably ironic given the subject. Yeb has had this problem with his campaign team from day one. It's as if they're all trying to run a political operation in a foreign country, which, I suspect, they are.

WTH--Rubio should have been Bush's veep--but Bush fell under Rubio's fruit wagon. So obviously go back to Nancy Sinatra and 1968 for a song that was unbearably bad then and has no connection now to anyone under 60. Ridiculously funny! I’m old enough to remember Nancy Sinatra singing “These boots are made for walking”, but I imagine a lot of voters are not.
