'We told you so,' Eastern Europe tells Germany

Leaders of Eastern European states opposed to Germany's open-door refugee policy have been quick to tell Germany 'we told you so' after the Cologne sexual assaults.

Influential politicians across Eastern Europe have pointed to the Cologne attacks, in which men of Middle Eastern appearance allegedly sexually assaulted over a hundred women, as proof that Germany's open-door refugee policy has been a mistake.

As Chancellor Angela Merkel seeks to reach a consensus on a quota system, whereby refugees would be divided up among European countries, the mood in Eastern Europe has now hardened against such proposals, with some governments saying they will refuse to take in young men.

The strongest criticism has come from Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico, who said in a television discussion that Migrants have become a 'protected species' in Germany, Spiegel Online reports.

The Polish government has also said that Germany has not taken the refugee influx seriously enough, adding that it doesn't want to take young male asylum seekers in.

In Romania meanwhile, the influential ex-president Traian Basescu said that the Cologne attacks were proof that the Romanian government should join its Eastern European neighbours in opposing a quota system.

Slovakian premier Fico called for an emergency meeting of EU leaders in light of the Cologne attacks in order to discuss border controls, hindering migration and the development of parallel societies.

His country wouldn't accept women being insulted in the streets, nor would it tolerate closed-off Muslim communities, Fico said.

” men of Middle Eastern appearance allegedly”

As the last German in Germany is murdered he will refuse to defend himself because he will not want to be branded a Nazi.

So tell me - who is the bigger enemy? Putin or Merkel?

I believe they are equally bad and dangerous in different ways, unfortunately we are overly aggressive towards one, and overly friendly towards the other.

Who can forget the vile treatment of the president of Hungary for keeping out these monsters? They should all be issuing him an apology. The Eastern Europeans have their heads screwed on straight.

If I remember correctly, David Wilkerson, in his 1973 book of prophecy “The Vision”, said the Iron Curtain would come down, but would later go back up with a vengeance.

Maybe there is still some common sense left in Europe, but it’s all in the East. There are a number of dangers here. Obviously, the fall of the West and its assimilation by demographics into the Caliphate is of most concern. The massacre of the white Europeans will be horrific. I for one do not join the voices here that say the Europeans will fight back viciously when finally provoked. I think the western Europeans are doomed and will go rather meekly when it’s time for the Muslims to slaughter them.

The Eastern Europeans, though, will not go meekly. They don’t intend to let the Muslims in so they can overrun their countries. But once the west falls into chaos, and then joins the caliphate, the Eastern European nations will look for “help” in keeping the Muslims at bay. And that help won’t be us. Nope, they will have to turn to Russia.

I can see where Putin is quietly very happy about the Muslim invasion of the West. He’ll be able to “put the band back together” and rebuild the Warsaw Pact.

I would rather see Poland rebuild the “Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.”

The “Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth” was mathematically suspect because it was divisible by three.

Seriously, the Poles, Balts, Hungarians, Czechs and Romanians need to have a serious discussion about their collective future. If they stay with the West, they are facing Muslim invasion or eventual Russian domination if they wait too long.

If there is a potential for a collective “third way” they need to start exploring it.

I dont believe Putin to be dangerous at all.

Putin is fighting to save his country and it’s people.

Merkel is the true enemy, she is actively working against her country and it’s people.

Don’t let the liberal controlled media and the propaganda spewed by the liberal governments of the west trick you into believing Putin is bad and Merkel is good. Just the opposite is true.

I think you “almost” got it right.

You said the eastern europeans would not get the help they will eventually seek from us, but will get it from Russia.

I think you are right about the Russia part, but wrong about the US part.

Not only will they not get help from us.. we will fight AGAINST them!

Think of what happened in Serbia.

Something has gone horribly wrong with our government. Our government is actively plotting against US and the entire western world. I don't know why, but this truth is undeniable.

True that.
The powers that be favor creative destruction.
From chaos, come new order.

So tell me - who is the bigger enemy? Putin or Merkel?

I'll say this much. Putin's excesses will be easier to reverse than Merkel's.

Agreed. I also see NATO as a semi-malevolent institution now.

Its true mission ended 25 years ago in victory. Now it is simply security cover for progressive/left social-engineers and empire-builders in Brussels and Washington. Is anyone seriously going to argue that Turkey is a stalwart ally, who believes in traditional western values of liberty, free enterprise, and representative government? How does Montenegro contribute to the security and freedom of the American people?

Our government is actively plotting against US and the entire western world. I don't know why...

Consider first what you mean by the "western world." One meaning is the world created by philosophers such as Locke, Smith and Mill, and political leaders like Jefferson, Madison and Hamilton, where government is limited by the Rule of Law and respect for the rights of the individual. The other would be the "western world" as envisaged by the likes of Marx and Lenin, where the power of government is limitless and the individual is merely an ant in a giant ant colony.

Then look at who our leaders would mostly identify with, and you have your answer.

From “The Gods of the Copybook Headings” by Kipling

” And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world beginsWhen all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!”

Amen to that.

Putin is a Nationalist. Merkel and her ilk are “one-worlders “. I’ll take nationalists any day.
