If anyone should know about phony conservatives, it’s the north eastern GOP...not a real conservative in that handful of Republicans, but they want to run the party. If you haven’t won your state since Reagan’s landslide, shut up, and don’t run for president. Christie et al.

Get one thing straight...there are NO conservatives in New England anymore...zip, zero, nada, null, nil. Not one! If they were truly conservative they would have left there a long time ago! Proof of the arrogance is when the faux yankee conservatives start trying to take down real conservatives.

I could care less what the Trump history shows, IF he can Make American Great Again, he gets my vote. As far as political parties go, both sides are as crooked as a coiled snake and should both be done away with. I vote for the person not the party.
The “Phony” accusation is bizarre because that implies a claim on his part.
He never claimed that.
Trump isn’t even looking for pre-existing majority opinion (though that helps) as much as good ideas that he can sell. That makes him hard to pin down at this juncture. We don’t even KNOW yet what “Trump agenda” will be, but we DO know that he’s listening at this point and people who won’t talk to him only have themselves to blame.

Trump is clever enough to realize that one thing supercedes plurality concerning public opinion......intesity.
If you analyze any position Trump takes that is NOT majority opinion it is sizeable minority opinion exhibiting profound intensity.
