Having people write out their opinions and using aggregated data, as opposed to random data, is worthless.
If it's so worthless I wonder why pollsters bother to do that.

You can not make inferences using aggregated data. All of my polls were within the margin of error which is the best that we can do. I much prefer working in biostats and accelerated testing than polling.
Ah yes, "margin of error." Sometimes the local T.V. "reader" would even quote the margin of error.

It all major guessing based on the obvious. But, then, that's only my opinon.
Math is exact; health isn't, well, beyond "dead" and "living."

Wow I am impressed, I wish my students would be like you. I always have a red ink pen with me. Every time I do not know a word I write it down in red ink. I will not read any further until I know the definition of the word.

A lot of pollsters only care about the money, and will prostitute themselves for the money. Since doing a poll the correct way is expensive and hard,they cheat. There is a lot of money in polling. Gallup is a rich man.

For me polling is boring and labor intensive. I am not a biologist and Bio-stats is so interesting. I often have to spend more time understanding the biology to figure what mathematics will solve their problem. Also in biometry the mathematics can get really nasty, which makes it so much more fun. Also Accelerated testing and bio-mathematics are some what virgin fields which means there are a lot of good problems to be solved.

Keep stretching your brain, it will irritate the people who don't like you.
