That fella is named Mark Eves...he is a democrat, and the Speaker of the Maine House.
Many politicians in Maine have secondary jobs. In my area, state senator Brain Langley , a republican, owns a restaurant on the Union River in Ellsworth, Maine, for instance.
Mark Eves was trying to get a management job of some kind on the side, at a place called the Goodwill-Hinckley School.
The governor got wind of the pending job offer, and called the Goodwill-Hinckley School, and told them it was not a good idea to hire Mark Eves, the House Speaker. The job offer was rescinded, Mark Eves sued the governor, and the libs have been screeching ever since.
Meanwhile, there is nothing in Maine law that mentions anything about impeaching a governor. Most experts believe that impeachment is very unlikely. It all boils down to politics; the liberals could not defeat the governor at the ballot box, so they are trying another tactic to get rid of him.
how many people did our president prevent from getting jobs because they were republicans? Likely quite a few- Heck- he and ilk even went further by using the IRS to investigate conservatives
[[Most experts believe that impeachment is very unlikely.]]
they I think will try that first, but then try to censure him or ‘reprimand him’ whatever that means-
They aint gonna stop
