I can’t fault the church on this one. He was a leader in the church services. If he was married to a woman and divorced her or if he was living with a woman outside of marriage I would expect the church would do the same.
That’s how churches which purported to be Biblical have gotten themselves into this mess, by turning a blind eye to other sins, until now we have a militant group who won’t accept their sin being called sin, but making a civil rights issue of their sin, so that it makes the perfect tool against churches. It works best against lukewarm churches, because churches which have stood staunchly on Biblical principle all along have a stronger position from which to oppose this one, when it comes to the people they have representing the church in any way, in any position.
