Sexually ambiguous rocker David Bowie - one of many stars said to have frolicked under the bedcovers with Mick Jagger - says he has fooled around with guys, but ''I was always a closet heterosexual.''
Bowie, who raised eyebrows in the '70s with his fem-drag ''Ziggy Stardust'' look, insists in Rolling Stone, ''I didn't ever feel that I was a real bisexual,'' even though he was ''making all the moves, down to the situation of actually trying it out.''

David Bowie’s family just announced that he died after a two year battle with cancer.
Does this reflect on his art in some way?
He admits to fooling around, soooo ....
So he writes music for decades and makes millions but this is how he is remembered?
Or it could be that as a man who just turned 69 years old, he just died of a cancer battle the way many people in their late 60s and early 70s do.
“He admits to fooling around, soooo ....”
His fooling around was years ago, and he has been happily married to the same lady (model Iman) for years and years.
This article from 1993 definitely belongs in Breaking News!
2012, 20th wedding anniversary
They call it show business because it’s all about the show.
Bowie was not everyone’s taste. But the guy put out some great tunes for many years.
Rest in Peace, Ziggy.
I remember reading an interview decades ago where he talked about going to an all male boarding school. He said his first sexual experiences were homosexual because there were no girls around. When he finally did have sex with girls it was like “oh yeah, this is so much better!”
The couple has a daughter. Bowie has a son from his first marriage to Angie.
Anyone married to Iman could not be gay. Closeted or otherwise.
And who cares? The dude could belt out a tune.
What an effed up post to announce this.
Perhaps.
More likely, he just got old and contracted cancer of the whatever.
If that doesn't get you, something else will. Ghost of Christmas future!
That’s a great photo of him! RIP.
