It is extraordinary that Barry Obama was given eligibility. According to the Founders at the Constitutional Convention, Barry fails the strict definition of a natural born citizen. The strict definition intended by the Founders of “natural born citizen” in the historical record was provided by one of the Founders: David Ramsay. Historian Ramsey defines it as meaning a person born in the country to citizen parents. No testimony from any other Founder or delegate of the Constitutional Convention exists that claims any other definition. Congress never legislated the definition of “natural born citizen,” and no United States statute currently defines the term or even mentions it. The intended meaning stays with the Constitutional Convention of 1776 that is used in Ramsay’s 1789 essay, “A Dissertation on the Manners of Acquiring the Character and Privileges of a Citizen,” as its authoritative guide to what is a natural born citizen.

“It is extraordinary that Barry Obama was given eligibility.”

Why should this be extraordinary? This is the District of Criminals were talking about that gave him eligibility.

I was reading about Republican (1881-1885) President Chester Alan Arthur. There were claims, which he denied, that he was born in Canada. Since his mom was an American
citizen, people argued back then that it did not matter whether he was born in Canada or not. They were convinced that he was eligible to become POTUS. His father was also
a preacher. I just found that interesting.
