As someone else pointed out, the liberal tactic is to frame an issue, not debate it, but frame it.

The point here is not to debate who is the bully, but to point out that this pair are up to the same tactic. Of course they are wrong. But what Trump does is to say something that shows how outrageous they are and then change the subject to something else they don't want to debate - like Hillary's attempts to defend BJ's perverted proclivities.

I’m not particularly a fan of his style. I think he could have made his point about Hillary without using a vulgar word like “schlonged” — there are a number of other words that convey the same meaning. And there are other ways of saying that you’re going to bome the s—t out of ISIS that convey the same impact without the four-letter word.

But I like a lot of what he has to say in the campaign, and I don’t worry too much about style (I tend to be rather blunt myself.) What I am concerned about is the candidates’ records — Trump’s and everyone else’s. Taht’s how I choose candidates.

like Hillary's attempts to defend BJ's perverted proclivities.

No one cares about Bill Clinton's 'proclivities'... we care that he used the power of the State to trash women he had abused... with Hillary's help. Juanita said Hillary came up to her AFTER the rape... talked to her... attempted to silence her... Remember that?

Hillary was the brains behind trashing the young women her husband abused - - making up stories, sticking detectives on them, and making sure they stayed 'shut-up'. She handled 'bimbo eruptions'...AKA "victims talking"...

That puts the issue on the table... YOUNG WOMEN NEED TO KNOW the stories...

Remember the lie Bill and Hillary used against Monica when Monica started telling the truth? Hillary said Monica was doing this for attention - that she was 'unstable'... wanted to write a book.

Then the Clintons told the press Monica AND her mother were BOTH mentally unstable - and that Bill Clinton was 'ministering to Monica' - - out of concern and pity... The press bought the lie ( the equivalent of holding the women down while they were being raped) - and started to run with the lies when Linda Tripp stepped forward. The Clintons used the power of the state, their War Room, shills in the press, and paid goons in the DNC to attack two powerless women - a mother and daughter... and almost got away with it. The blue dress put an end to the lies about Monica and her mother...

Republican weren't as lucky.

We didn't have a 'blue dress' to stop the lies. The Clintons attacked conservatives with stories about a 'vast right wing conspiracy' and stuck the FBI and Southern Poverty Law Center on Conservative Americans for YEARS... . Like the fake story about the movie trailer (Benghazi)...innocent powerless people were damaged for the sake of Clinton lies. The VRWC lies damaged thousands of conservative Americans and encouraged crap like the IRS going after Republicans.

Oh, and lying under oath in a sexual harassment case is NOT a 'proclivity'...

-— There is nothing beyond the show. There is no relevant experience, no knowledge of policy, no statesmanship. Just an act.-—

If that ain’t the truth.

A lot of sound and fury signifying nothing.

When the time comes, I’m voting for him because he will be the best chance we have to stop the insanity of both Bush and Obama years.

-— He just cuts through the crap, tells it like it is in -—

He cuts through the crap and spouts his own crap.

He doesn’t address the issues in any more depth than the Left. Read a transcript of a speech or an interview.

The reason why he doesn’t address issues in depth is because he can’t.

He claims to be a genius. I have yet to see any evidence.

He doesn't address the issues in any more depth than the Left. ...The reason why he doesn't address issues in depth is because he can't.

You fall into the liberal's trap, because you think it is about policy wonkism, who has the most details. So, you let the left frame the issue and then debate them on their terms. Sure you can win the debate, I guess, but you have lost because you are debating their issue, not your issue.

Trump addresses them, left and right, with an outrageous over the top statement - they fall for it and debate it - and they lose because now he has them debating on his terms.

But Trump does not stand by and engage that debate. He moves on and raises his own issues. While left and right are left on the skirmishing line in a battle of attrition, Trump invades enemy turf with a rapid counterpunch that they cannot keep up with.

Yes, Cruz can take on the left in debates and win on debating points, that is a tactical victory. It isn't strategy.

Don't like Trump - well don't vote for him, but at least open your eyes as to why his campaign is working and no one else's is.

Does anyone have any idea how many developers go bankrupt before they get the first floor of something like that built; before they even get the permits to do the D&D to clear the lot.
