I see it everywhere in small towns arcross my state...these single white women toting around their little brown baby and acting like it's the greatest thing. They got their Onambla phone, and EBT card.
One of the silver linings though, is that these biracial kids have a much better shot at succeeding than regular black kids in the inner-cities. One of my friends has a biracial teen son, and her parents are fully involved in his life to provide structure. Plus, he had a “pal”, an older adult similar to a Big Brother or Sister. Of course, the father of the kid is in jail for not paying child support.
