I think he also knows that is where he is going to end up. If he is a foreign agent then his confinement would come under military law in my opinion. The best location to place him is there with a military tribunal.
Look at all the destruction he has created. Look at all the deaths. He may ultimately rival Pol Pot with his actions in the middle east.
