Mexican authorities want to speak with U.S. actor Sean Penn and Latin television star Kate del Castillo, a Mexican law enforcement official told NBC News Sunday.

The revelation came a day after Rolling Stone published a secret interview that Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman apparently gave to Penn while on the run.

The official also said that investigators were able to learn details about Guzman's whereabouts by intercepting phone conversations between Penn, Del Castillo and the drug lord.

I think it’s nice that he has to live the rest of his life, or Guzman’s life anyway, in fear of retribution. Even if he wasn’t a snitch, they will blame him, and more, need to make him an example.

Penn ought to be arrested and charged with aiding an escaped prisoner.

And based on the details of Chapo’s escapes, authorities ought to move him to different cells every 7 to 14 days, with no notice and a varied schedule.

I’m betting that Guzman AND his cohorts want to “speak” to Penn and Del Castillo as well. :-) If the two of them had any sense...and I don’t think they do... they’d get themselves to a place where NOBODY knew they were and then stay there for a good LONG time. I’m betting that the odds are pretty high that Penn and Del Castillo get offed here in the next year or so. :-)

Well, at 43, her acting career is over, at least according to the aging whiny actresses that are too lazy to hunt for the appropriate roles, too cheap to pay someone to do hunt/write/produce roles for them, or too not talented enough to do it themselves.
