WLKY reports that McConnell responded to Obamaâs executive gun control by criticizing it, but without offering any action that the Senate plans to take to shut Obamaâs efforts down. McConnell said, âIf the president thought there was any legislative support for what he was doing, he would try to get the Congress to approve it, so I donât think what heâs doing is going to have any impact on the problem at all.â
And The Wall Street Journal reported that Ryan responded to the gun controls by saying he was âsureâ the executive gun controls will be âchallenged in the courts.â Ryan said he also expects an incoming Republican president to overturn them, but he said nothing about using his position as Speaker to shut down the executive gun control push. He said nothing about launching a concerted PR campaign aimed at shaming Obama for taking steps that make it harder for single mothers to get the guns they need to defend their families and harder for Americans of all stripes to get the guns they need for self-defense.

Everyone knows executive orders are not laws so no one in the legislative branch took the bait. No commercial or private entity has to follow any executive order, just follow the laws on the books. Everyone just ignores then.
I’ve never seen a political party so unwilling to engage the enemy as the current gop-e.
So what are the Republicans in Congress supposed to do? Send Obama a stinging memo? Yeah, that’ll do it. The orders can only be fought in court.
Fire Ryan’s do nothing ass asap
You know why. We all know why.
What did we get when Boehner was dumped? Exactly NOTHING! In 2010 and 2014 we got a lot of GOPe dopes elected. What did we get? Obama’s wish list.
These cowards need to put Obama in a holding Pattern until Nov
Drop a bill off on his desk to allow Old Geezers to save their hearing by allowing ready, inexpensive and unregistered gun mufflers.
During the last Senate campaign McConnell had a flyer showing him waving a rifle and stating what an awesome defender he is of the 2nd Amendment.
I quit contacting his office some time back after getting aloof and sometimes snotty responses from his staff. I don’t think they like dealing with the “Great Unwashed” that constitute so much of his constituency. It offends them. But I think I’m going to annoy them this week.
It may be (a tiny bit) unfair, but when it comes to the paid staff of liars and traitors like McConnell, I tar them with the same brush. No way would I work for a man I didn’t believe in, i.e. they agree with him. Just the way I feel.
They are very willing to engage their enemies. They fight conservatives at every step.
So McConnell and Ryan are in favor of the Executive Branch changing gun control laws.
Guess it's too much to expect for either Lyin' Ryan or McTurtle to step up to the microphone and say even that.
It’s not their enemy. It’s their buddies just doin’ business.
Most all of them are onboard with the Uniparty as long as they keep getting their pockets lined in various forms.
It’s the largest RICO machine there is.
On the contrary, Ryan does an excellent job for his real boss - Obama.

Screw the gang of 435 let’s start over...

And they all wonder why Trump is in the lead, you fake phoney frauds with no balls. You sit and allow it to happen becuase you know you may beable to benefit by it without owning it. Scum!
And so, after passing the Obamacare repeal and PP defunding through reconciliation, I guess they have gone back to surrendering.
PING!
