Another article said a neighboring city offered to send police reinforcements but were told no need! How long will the German people stand for this lunacy??

One of the little things that came out from the evening of the 31st...is that normally, there would be a reserve police force called in from the regional area and they’d augment the regular force.

Well....because of the influx of refugees into Bavaria (from the last four months of 2015)....they were ordered to deploy their reserve force to the state of Bavaria to help there. So, there was no reserve cops that could have helped quiet down the Koln riot episode. They had almost every cop possible (roughly 140) to cover the downtown area for that night.
