Had Hitler and Tojo minded their own domestic affairs and not gotten involved in foreign wars of conquest, the nations they led would have had millions of men who might have passed masculine virtues to their sons and grandsons. In retrospect, were the long term results of their aggression worth Alsace or Manchuria?

War always kills off, by the hundreds of thousands, the strongest, finest and fittest of young men on all sides. It is the periodic slaughter of the sons. It is a meat-grinder of men. Very often it does not result in victory for anyone: just varying degrees of defeat. WWI and WWII were the spiritual and physical suicide of the Christian West.

Germany and Japan were mad to make the wars they did. Mad and evil beyond comprehension. Sui-genocide. Geno-suicide.
