Germany has had a mutually beneficial relationship for decades with Turkish “guest workers” who were respectable people, not social parasites, not predators.

Yes, I know well of those “TEMPORARY guest workers”. They’ve been like houseguests who REFUSE to leave and NEVER leave. Or like our Mexican neighbors whose hospitality motto of recent years is “Su casa es mi casa”.

The reality is, Germany has been at below replacement fertility for ~55 years--- way below--- and in 2015 they plunged even below Japan to have the lowest recorded birth and fertility rates in the history of the world. They have killed their own future.

Let me repeat that. They killed their own future. The Muslims didn't do it to them. They did it to themselves. This is very likely irreversible.

If they didn't have Turkish Gastarbeiter and their 2nd and 3rd generation descendants, their workforce contraction would have been so severe Germany would be extinct as a political economy.

It's not just Merkel: As it stands, Germany will be only the first natio n to have killed itself with contraceptives.The central, intractable dilemma is: how do you grow Germany without Germans?

Hard to say who is more pathetic: the Germans, or the Japanese, who think they can grow Japan with robots!
