I thought the Chief of Police said exactly what the motive was in his press conference. He credited Islam and said the guy was a Muslim.
He did say those things. Then he said that this had nothing to do with Islam, I guess in an effort to deflect this Muslims actions from all other Muslims.
I yelled at the TV—”Of course this has everything to do with Islam.”
