Have not flown since Sept. 2002.
Like you, I drive everywhere. I take what I want, stop when I want, and don’t worry about being poked, prodded, insulted or x-rayed by nincompoops and perverts.
I am sick of Muslims changing my way of life.
15 years of this nonsense is enough. We have to push back against them.
A couple of years after 9/11 I was in Manhattan for a seminar; as I entered the parking garage under a hotel they checked under the car, in the trunk, etc. for bombs. I realized then (a dozen years ago) that this is permanent; due to our litigious society they can never give the appearance that they aren’t trying to protect people. I say “give the appearance” because it has become quite clear (from the number of lapses, which can be attributed to the caliber of staff) that they are not going to spend the money required to really secure anything - and to be fair, they probably couldn’t stay in business if they tried.
When mosques opened on September 12th, 2001, we had lost.
