Staten Island has quite a history. Revolutionary war battle was fought here. British, Germans, Irish, and more recently (past 45 years) Italians have all come here.

I saw that movie “God’s not Dead” last year. It was good. I like Kevin Sorbo.

Woody, though he has some funny films, has one of the most bleak outlooks I have ever heard. I guess that’s why it was ok to steal his step daughter away from his wife.

I wondered that myself. It was a train station. For some of them, their train stopped and they got out and holy carp, what is all this? For others, it was a crowded, boisterous city New Year's scene, was all, until it wasn't. I'm guessing you might be pretty deep into it before you noticed that things were getting weird, bearded, and violent.

I got off a train in Japan one time to find myself in the middle of an anti-base demonstration. Being Japanese they were very polite and actually rather nice about the whole thing. But that's Japan.
