If you wish to ignore them in face of the facts that EVEN BEFORE the Revolutionary War, Franklin referred to the extensive use of The Law of Nations among those who would become our Founding Fathers, feel free to do so. To infer that AFTER the Revolution the new Government would exclusively adhere to the beliefs of our enemy, is tantamount to idiocy. But then again, it seems to be a condition of the modern day citizen.
